The difference between a constellation and an astrological sign is important if you are entitled to take the Rota approach to your learning process. The 12 signs of the zodiac are not the stars nor the constellations. They look like a division of the earth plane by the meridians and parallels, the only difference is they are the sky version of that approach.

So between each reproholical slice, there are different countries even continents. But we name one slice as one astrological sign and this is determined according to the 30 degrees of celestial longitude. The stars or planets that take around a month to complete its cycle is a part of the astrological sign. Some constellations are not considered as sign because we only see them cycle only for a day or 24 hours.

On the other hand constellations are made from stars which create a certain shape. They don’t have a determined plane space like zodiac signs. Assume that they are like people living on earth in nearby countries coming from the same origin. The rota principle is not built on zodiac signs but constellations.(see below the constellation map). Although, they are not made for that… you can determine a zodiac sign from it though if its necessary.

Some cards have more than one element in it. That is probably the constellation attached to it is crossing the sky touching so many signs and stars. You might need to dive deeply into the cards in order to understand this teaching. That’s why its ok if you want to hold it in your hand in order to connect with it on a deeper level.

The ROTA teaching is a very sacred teaching of me, MIRA, and you now have the privilege to go through the deck, literally, the BIG SHIP.
